Walking Together: Emotional Memory
Walking Together is presenting a talk on Thursday, September 13, 2018, by Karen Kaslow, RN, of Keystone Elder Law entitled “Emotional Memory”. Her talk will show how emotions are a key factor when caring for someone with memory loss. The impact of emotions on communication and behavior will be discussed. Walking Together will meet in the Rhoades Fellowship Hall at the First United Presbyterian Church, 111 W. Big Spring Avenue, Newville, PA, at 6:30 p.m. It will include a time of connecting with others in similar circumstances. Refreshments will be served. Walking Together: Caregiving for the Memory Loss Community is jointly sponsored by the First United Presbyterian Church, The Big Spring Senior Center and Green Ridge Village, all of Newville, PA. It looks to offer education and information to support people who are dealing with a loved one’s memory issues on a daily basis.
