Department of Public Works (DPW)

The Newville Department of Public Works maintains all Borough roads, buildings and parks- including the Newville trailhead for the Cumberland Valley Rails to Trails. We work year-round to provide services to keep Newville looking beautiful and clean. These projects include annual brush collection in the spring and fall, fall leaf collection, plowing and snow removal of all borough roads, curb maintenance, and maintaining Borough buildings. We are also the crew that sets up for Newville Borough Events such as the Fountain Festival, the Halloween and other parades, National Night Out and Concerts at the Fountain throughout the summers.
