The Western Emergency Management Association (WEMA) was formed as a group to provide aid and combine resources in the event of an emergency, whether natural or man-made. It is sponsored by seven local municipalities, fund raisers, donations and grants. Equipment includes generators, lighting, pumps and other safety equipment.
